The much awaited flick of the season, Ready, is set to hit the silver screens across the globe on Friday.
Bollywood’s Dabangg, Salman Khan and Asin starrer movie ready is much talked film of this season.
The director Anees Bazme’s movie Reday also stars Arya Babbar,Paresh Rawal,Mahesh Manjrekar in the crucial role.
Ready should have just been called: Salman Khan. The film is essentially a one-man show by an actor, who doesn’t act. How much you enjoy Ready is directly proportionate to your affection for Salman and cheerfully cheesy, low-brow humour. Thankfully, Ready isn’t in the same soul-sucking category as director Anees Bazmee’s last two movies: Thank You and No Problem. But it still falls very much into his special brand of brain-dead, anything-for-a-laugh comedy.Ready made me laugh sporadically but beyond a point I could almost feel my brain cells shrinking and exhaustion setting in, one joke at a time. I’m going with two stars.

Prem lives in his house with his uncles and father. Sanjana is very rich but unluckily is an orphan. Her uncles are very much greedy and they want to loot all her property.
She comes to India and meets Prem. Prem and Sanjana both fall in love with each other. Her uncles are against her marriage with Prem. Each of them wants the girl to marry with their respective brother-in-law so that they can grab all the wealth and money. Both uncles are each others enemies.
Prem knows their maneuver and decides to teach both of them a good lesson. He plans a game with his 2 uncles.
One of Prem’s uncle pretend to be as World Bank manager and reveals to both Sanjana’s mamas that Sanjana’s father took millions of dollars loan and now she has to pay that. So he asks them either to sell her complete land and property or leave the girl for Prem.
Sanjana’s uncles are compelled to accept Prem as her husband and they get ready for his marriage with Sanjana.
But Prem’s game plan exposes on the wedding day.
The film is a comic movie. You will not be interested so much in the story. Such stories you might have seen before also. It’s an old story. One can also assume this since it’s a remake of 1980 Tamil movie. So, you can’t expect newness in it.
But the good part is the comic and humor that Salman does. It has good songs and you will grab your stomach as the bollywood veteran actor will make you laugh so much.
Director Anees Bazmee and Salman is what have made the film so good.
The negative point is that the screenplay is not so good in the first half.
You will watch Asin but again the actor dominates.
Paresh Rawal has helped the hero in his funny comedy. He is obviously a good comedian. Other funny lines are been added by Sudesh Lehri.
The film is produced by Rajat Rawail, Bhushan Kumar, Nitin Manmohan, Krishan Kumar and Sohail Khan. The music director is Pritam Chakraborty.
So, it is worth of money spent on watching it.
