Get ready to see a whole lot more table-flipping and brawl baptisms! Bravo has renewed its ratings juggernaut, The Real Housewives of New Jersey, for a fourth season on the network, but not before announcing a big change for the show.
The third season of Real Housewives of New Jersey recently achieved the network’s highest-rated season premiere with 2.02 million adults aged 18 to 49, prompting Bravo chief Andy Cohen and show producers to move the show from its Monday night timeslot to the coveted Sundays at 10PM, where it will fill-in for the vacationing Real Housewives of Orange County. The change goes into effect this Sunday, June 12.
“New Jersey, which in May delivered the network’s highest-rated premiere in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic, will move from Mondays at 9 PM to Sundays at 10 PM starting this week, where it will follow The Real Housewives of Orange County reunion,” read a press release issued by Bravo on Tuesday. “Sunday’s Season 6 finale of Housewives franchise original Orange County delivered the net’s highest-rated episode of the series, with 2.88 total viewers and stands as the highest-rated episode of the season, with 1.86 million viewers in the 18-49 demo, according to Nielsen. The finale was up 17 percent in total viewers and up 3 percent in the demo compared with the series’ Season 5 finale.”
